Spotlight: CastleGate Invoicing Improvements
What's Changing?
Updated Accounts Summary Payable Page: This page has moved out of the CastleGate tab! You will now find your payable invoices in the Finance tab on the Partner Home navigation bar. Learn more here.
Shipment-based invoicing: Starting in July, your CastleGate Transportation (Forwarding) invoices will no longer be billed on a monthly basis. You will now receive an invoice per inbound shipment.
Changes to tariff accessorial rate card: Your CastleGate Forwarding rate cards will now include accessorial charges that were previously pass-through. These charges will be invoiced within 30 days of containers being returned (instead of months later). Please find accessorial rate details in your monthly rate card email.

What's Changing?
Decommissioning of Hebron, KY Fulfillment Center
The Fulfillment Center in Hebron will be gradually decommissioned by the end of 2023. Customer demand will be covered by other facilities in the region.
Multichannel program updates
- Canada and Europe expansion: We have expanded our multichannel service to Canada, and will be launching to Europe in the next months. Detailed information on onboarding to the program will be shared via Growth@ email soon. Meanwhile, learn more about the program in our Multichannel OP-erating Guide.
- We've released a new CastleGate Orders page on Partner Home to provide better visibility into multichannel order management and shipment tracking.
Revamped CastleGate Operating Guide
Our operating guides for North America and Europe page now include updated and improved guidelines to help you manage your CastleGate operations smoothly and cost efficiently. Tip: Check out our inbound, receiving, and packaging requirements for best practices on a successful injection into our facilities.
Improved self-service onboarding for unconverted multibox products
We launched a self-service onboarding...QP-tion within the Basic Access Multibox program on Partner Home, enabling unconverted multibox items to be received and fulfilled by CastleGate better than ever before. Learn more about multibox programs here.

Our new fulfillment center in Vancouver, BC, Canada will open in October 2023. If you use an API or EDI setup for CastleGate Canada, ensure your API or EDI setup is integrated with this new facility by opening a ticket here.

What's Changing?
Improved ilnventory visibility from Dedicated Break-Bulk Facilities (DBF)
You can now see which CastleGate Fulfillment Centers your DBF outbound inventory is headed to (both items and quantities) on the Order Management page.
New destination ports in Europe
We are pleased to announce we started operations in France with the Port of Le Havre and in Poland with the Port of Gdansk.
Faster ocean and drayage performance
We have improved speed for both ocean transit and containers from dray pickup until empty return time by ~40%, making your inventory sellable sooner and reducing additional charges due to delays.
U.S./CA overweight surcharge
Effective August 1, 2023, (gate-in origin port), we will charge a 400 USD overweight surcharge per container shipping to North America or Canada for containers exceeding the maximum gross allowable cargo weight. Learn more here (user ID: GUEST123, password: 123456).
Transition of CFS in Yantian to Kerry Logistics
We are transitioning the container freight station (CFS) in Yantian, Shenzhen to a new location. After October 8, 2023, we ask shippers to start shipping cargo to the new address. Our Origin Agent will inform factories about the transition and hold a weekly training session to introduce the new CFS, share booking forms, and answer any questions.

Additional visibility improvements from dedicated break-bulk facilities (DBF)
Order Management page will provide ETAs and additional shipping milestones for deconsolidated orders arriving at CastleGate Fulfillment Centers. You will also see part- number data grouped by deconsolidated order and be able to export DBF data as a CSV file.
